Netherlands

The 7th Streetmen band was founded mid 2000. A number of musicians from Uden and Grave (The Netherlands) joined their forces at that time to make music for fun once a week. Everybody’s preference was the blues, with all it’s variations in style. It went without saying that a horns section was to become part of the band. After a number of changes in the line - up the 7th Streetmen band is now a solid team that will bring you stompin’ blues and breathtaking old soul.

Because of the swinging horns section, an excellent singer that also plays the bluesharp in an outstanding manner, a sologuitar player {Ex Blues Clinic Anthony van den Broek), leaning on a heavy pumping base, the 7th Streetmen band has now evolved into a band that needs to be taken into account. During the live shows in the Benelux the audience will go crazy !!! Like the gigs at Jazz in Duketown, Bluescafe Apeldoorn, Groene Engel Oss, Bluestour Cuyk, Bluestour Vianden Luxemburg etc.

Inspired by songs from Roomful of Blues (with Ronnie Earl), BB King, Tinsley Ellis, Albert Collins, Colin James, Magic Frankie and Otis Redding. No need to say that the 7th Streetmen band plays there repertoire in it’s very own blues style.
